Synch Sandbox, a recently launched programme to support LegalTech startups in the Nordics, has attracted several teams and early-stage companies that create solutions for the legal industry. This Tuesday (17 April 2018) each team presented their concepts at Synch.
A Stockholm-based company that creates a freelance marketplace for legal professionals in Sweden. A customer posts a job, which is matched with a pool of lawyers with relevant expertise. The selected lawyers can then send a quote to the customer for consideration. The agreement for the quoted advice is formed and signed between the parties on the platform using the BankID digital signing process. The platform integrates necessary communication tools to keep the parties in sync.
The team, based in Stockholm, are building an API suite to assist business customers with compliance with the Swedish anti-money laundering (AML) legislation. The solution allows to integrate flexible, tamper-proof and audit-ready PEP and sanctions checks into existing workflows. At a later stage, the tool will provide for a web-interface, as well as incorporate an AI model for analyzing transactional patterns.
Established in Sweden, the startup has been building an organizations-oriented AI solution that helps to find colleagues with relevant expertise for a given question, thus making the internal knowledge-sharing process more efficient. The AI only needs information on employees’ skillsets, and then it maps the internal expertise across the organization. A user can send a question to the service which forwards the inquiry to a group of colleagues who, with high probability, can answer it. The solution is integrated with email.
Stay tuned for updates on the teams’ progress and Synch Sandbox!
